If cherry blossoms fall at the rate of 5 centimeters per second, how long will it take for two hearts to come closer together? When they were teenagers, Takayuki and Akari were inseparable friends, but soon a huge gap opened up between them: Akari transferred to another school, and Takayuki moved to the faraway island of Kagoshima with his parents' job transfer. Before moving to Kagoshima, Takayuki traveled a long way by Shinkansen to meet Akari, and after a long wait, the two of them embraced each other under the withered cherry blossom tree in the snow and gave each other their first kiss, promising to see the cherry blossoms together again next time. As time went by, they never saw each other again, and although they searched for each other in the sea of people, they always seemed to be in vain. Later on, they had their own lives, but they still dreamed of this young and beautiful relationship when they were thirteen years old.
